Concrete Lifting FAQ's
By drilling small holes in a cement slab, we can inject grout beneath the surface to lift the concrete.
Of course it depends on the amount of concrete needing lifted, but typically our technicians can have you taken care of within 2 to 8 hrs.
Concrete can be walked on immediately after it has been lifted. If you plan an heavy traffic like a car or truck you better wait a day. Oh, and remember to watch out for the hole patched used to install the grout. You don’t want footprints.
Well, if you like to save time and money, you should probably lift your concrete. However. if the slab is less than 4″ thick or has lots of cracking then you may want to think about replacement. If you are still unsure, you can schedule an appointment with one of our trained estimators to help you in your decision.
Yes, Yes, Yes!! Because the concrete has already been finished, we can lift in almost any weather. The one exception is when the concrete freezes to the ground beneath it. This type of freezing usually doesn’t effect the lift until late December thru mid February.
Not to worry. When our estimator gives you your estimate, they will make note of the color and pass this information on to the technician. When the technician completes the lift, he will use concrete dye to color the cement used to patch the lifting holes. Not all companies are so nice!
Lets just say this, NO other company puts a much thought into the material used to lift than Interwest. We have probably tried a half dozen different materials. It will probably surprise you what we have found. We found that none of them work very well by themselves, so, we mix them. Shhhh, don’t tell anyone, it’s our little secret. Our estimator can fill you in on our secret blend.
